INSTRUCTIONS:
Preparing the mixture:
In a small bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of baking soda with an equal amount of water to form a smooth paste. The consistency should be thick but spreadable.
Applying to the face:
Gently apply the baking soda paste to your face, focusing on areas with more pronounced wrinkles, such as around the eyes, mouth, and forehead. Avoid the eye area to prevent irritation.
Massage gently:
Using your fingertips, gently massage the mixture into your skin using circular motions. This massage will stimulate blood circulation and activate the exfoliating properties of the baking soda.
Leave on:
Leave the mixture on your face for 3 minutes. You may feel a slight tightening sensation as the baking soda begins to work to firm and lift your skin.
Rinse:
After 3 minutes, rinse your face with lukewarm water, then finish with a blast of cold water to close pores. Pat your skin dry with a soft towel.
Moisturize:
After rinsing, apply a natural moisturizer, such as coconut oil or aloe vera gel, to hydrate and soothe your skin. This step is essential for retaining moisture and maximizing the firming effect.
